Two friends, Vibhor Kataria and Rishel Puri, had a simple realization—puffed rice (murmure) was never the hero. It was always mixed into namkeen, bhel, or chaat but never given its own space in the snack world.
Despite being light, crunchy, and affordable, murmure never made it to supermarket shelves as a standalone, flavored snack. Unlike chips, makhana, or nuts, it lacked identity.
Curious, they dug deeper and found that flavored roasted puffed rice was an untapped market! That’s when the idea struck—why not give murmure the respect it deserves?
